1. Resize Window
After created the videos some people would like increase or decrease video size, in this situation they can resize their entire video projects by doing following steps:
Go to Modify menu and select Rescale projects, Rescale Project window will be open here you can change the project size User defined or Preset size as you wish. In user defined size you can increase the project size prepositionally by select on Maintain Aspect Ration options. Please be mind if you resize the project huge number of pixels, screen images quality will be reduced.
2. Remove Auto caption
Many video screen capture software will not be show the mouse movement captions, in Adobe captivate by default show this feature for easiest way to understand the videos. But if you need to disable this feature you can change settings in preferences.
Go to Edit menu and select the Preferences, in Preferences window select modes under Recording Category. Now unselect the options under Captions section and unselect Add highlight option in Mouse section. You can also make template these settings for hide the text caption in all your projects.
3. Speech Management
Speech Management is one of the most important feature in Adobe captivate. Using this feature you can add the text to convert the speech by using windows default speech agent. But most of the people feel windows default speech agent is very fast and not easy to understand the pronunciation. 4. Reduce project published file size
Adobe captivate project published as SWF file, if your project should be load very faster from internet you must reduce the file sizes. You can reduce the file size by doing following way:
- Remove the unwanted captured screens, Audio files and Media files from Library
- In preferences window under Project Category select SWF size and Quality then Reduce the JPEG file size 70% and select the option compress SWF file
- After publish the project, compress the SWF file by using SWF optimizer to reduce the file size.

5. Combine your projects
In Adobe captivate you can combine multiple project in to one project by using Aggregator Project feature. Using this feature you add multiple video projects, make it order as you wish and change the title of project name. This aggregator project will helpful for view the video running duration and viewed status. If you would like to view any videos you can simply click on the side navigation to view.
