Posts

Editor

Author
Author role has only Add, edit, delete their own post or page. While creating the post author can create the categories and choose the other user created categories as well. Authors can view comments even those that are pending review, but they cannot moderate, approve, or delete any comments.
Contributor
Contributors role has added the new posts and edits their own posts, but they cannot publish any posts. When writing posts, they cannot create new categories and will have to choose from existing categories. However, they can add tags to their posts. Contributors can view comments even waiting for moderation, but they cannot approve or delete comments.
Subscriber
Subscriber role has the login to the WordPress site and update their user profiles and change their passwords. They cannot write posts, view comments, or do anything else inside WordPress admin area. This user role is useful if the user requires to log in before reading a post or leave a comment.
Comments
Comments will be displayed on the WordPress Post; this feature provides website visitors communicate with other readers. It allows to ask questions and provide feedback about the articles. It’s helpful to interact with article author and blog visitors.
