Windows 10 migration is going on most of the older version window operating system computers. But still some people is not updated, maybe they don’t have download options for Windows 10. So they would like to create Windows 10 bootable USB from other computer. In this post explain how you can create windows 10 bootable USB drive.

Create Windows 10 Bootable USB

Option: 1

  1. Download the Windows 10 ISO file from Microsoft website
  2. Download Windows USB/DVD download tool from codeplex website
  3. Install windows USB download tool in computer
  4. Plugin USB drive in that computer (Make sure USB drive must have 6 to 8 GB of free space)
  5. Open the Windows USB download tool and select the windows 10 ISO file by click on browse button
  6. In step 2 screen you have to select USB Device options and move to next step
  7. Step 3, you have to select your USB drive if not displayed refresh the button
  8. After selected the USB click on Begin copying button
  9. If not enough space to copy the windows 10 file in USB, than warning message will be prompt to erase the available file in your USB drive
  10. Click Yes to continue

Now windows 10 files will be copy to your USB drive, after successfully copied the file remove the USB and plugin to other computer than install the Windows 10 from bootable USB.

 

Option: 2

Rufus tool is the other option to create Windows 10 bootable USB, by using the following steps you can create bootable USB:

  1. Download the Rufus tool from its website (this is standalone exe, so you don’t need to install in your computer)
  2. Open the Rufus tool and select your USB in under device section
  3. Select the ISO image file by click on CD icon in under Formation options section
  4. Click start button to copy the Windows 10 files to USB drive

After successfully copied the files, your USB drive will be bootable windows 10 installer.
