Method 1: Backup using WordPress plugin

Method 2: Backup using website cpanel

You can manually download your files and database through your blogs CPanel by using following steps:

  1. Login in to your blogs cpanel
  2. Click to backup under Files section

  5. Select the Home directory and enter your email for backup completed notification then click Generate Backup button

  7. Once completed the Files backup you can manually download the files by using available downloaded links.

  10. Click to download database under download a MySQL Database Backup

Now your files and database will be downloading on your computer. After completed the downloading you have to maintain these files in secure place. By using CPanel you can also download regularly scheduled backup through Cron jobs then save into your FTP server.
