WordPress Page same as a Post, the main difference is if your website needs the Static page then you can use the “Pages” structure. If you need the dynamic content then you have to use the “Post” format, for example, if your website as News information and daily publish the content, then you have to use the Post format. This post explains how to create a WordPress Page.
 

Create WordPress Page

Login to admin area and go Pages -> Add New

In the Add New Page enter the Page Title and Descriptions and select the Language of the Page. Also, select the Page Attributes of the parent page or none of the parent page.

How to Add images on the Page

Admin can also add the images by click on the Add Media button (Please be note this example shows the WordPress Classic editor.)

It will open the Add Media page, select the Media Library, and select the images that you have already uploaded. If we need to add the new images click on the Upload Files tab and upload the images from your computer.

 

How to publish the Scheduler Page

WordPress provides the option to publish the page as scheduler based.
Click on Edit link on the Publish immediately under Publish Section

It will open the scheduler date and time, you can select the date and time when you would like to publish the Page. Then click on the OK button and Publish the Page.

Now your page will be added, but it will be published based on the Scheduler date and time.

 

How to Setup Expire the Page

By default WordPress dont have the option of page expiration. Administrator should install the Post Expirator Plugin.

Enable the Page Expiration option in the Post Expiration section it will open the date and time. Here we can select the page expiration date and time also select the How to Expire like Draft, Delete and make it Private.

How to Setup Page restriction

Administrators can set up the page restriction for particular customers while creating the pages.

Click on the Visibility Edit link on the Publish section

Select the visibility options as Follows:

  • Public – Public pages will be displayed for all visitors
  • Password Protected – Before view this page visitor must enter the password
  • Private – Logged in User only can view the page based on the User Roles
